Senior Citizen Center
MISSION
The purpose of the Matthews Memorial Baptist Church Senior Citizens Center (MMBCSCC) is to glorify God in all that is done, and always keep Him first in the center of its activities. Through a variety of community-based activities, the MMBCCSC endeavors to enrich the lives of senior citizens, the homebound and the disabled. These activities may include sharing information with regard to experiences in food handling, visitation of the sick in their homes and nursing facilities, inviting specialists to speak in areas such as health, stress, finances, etc.
In addition our goals include:
- To reach and teach all seniors in all walks of life, by our witness
- To share experiences, talents, and time
- To lead souls to Christ
- To provide additional services such as nutrition, education, counseling, socialization/recreation, and shopping assistance
